Description

A delicious and flavorful stuffed chicken roast that is perfect for special occasions and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 45 lbs)
  • 2 cups of bread crumbs
  • 1 cup of cooked spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or rosemary)
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, cooked spinach, Parmesan cheese, onions, garlic, herbs, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff the mixture into the cavity of the whole chicken.
  4. Place the stuffed chicken in a roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken overnight with your favorite spices.
  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
