- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the strawberries by mixing them with a little sugar and letting them sit.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Once the cake is cool, slice it in half horizontally.
- Layer the bottom half with strawberries and whipped cream, then place the top half back on.
- Top with more strawberries and whipped cream before serving.
