Description

A delicious blend of sweet strawberries, honey, and a kick of jalapeño, perfect for spreading on toast or using in recipes.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup honey
  • 12 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chopped strawberries, honey, jalapeños, and lemon juice.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Add the fruit pectin and continue to boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
  5. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal them tightly.
  6. Let the jars cool to room temperature before refrigerating.

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño based on your spice preference.
  • This jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
