- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 cup honey
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chopped strawberries, honey, jalapeños, and lemon juice.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add the fruit pectin and continue to boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal them tightly.
- Let the jars cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño based on your spice preference.
- This jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
- For longer storage, consider canning the jam using proper canning techniques.
