Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and hot sauce to create the creamy sauce.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by placing the fried chicken on a bun, adding lettuce, tomato, and drizzling with the creamy sauce.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
