 - 1 cup chopped onion
 - 2 cups cubed bread
 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 - 6 large eggs
 - 2 cups milk
 - 1 teaspoon dried sage
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until the sausage is browned.
 - In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sage, salt, and pepper.
 - Add the cooked sausage mixture, cubed bread, and cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
 - Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
 - Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
 - Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
