Description

Delicious salmon balls served with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for a healthy appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the salmon balls are baking, prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and dill until smooth.
  6. Serve the salmon balls warm with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the salmon mixture.
  • These salmon balls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
