- 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless and boneless
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the salmon balls are baking, prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and dill until smooth.
- Serve the salmon balls warm with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the salmon mixture.
- These salmon balls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
