A delicious and unique twist on traditional lasagna, featuring layers of tender chicken, creamy cheese, and aromatic rosemary.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the shredded chicken, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with sautéed vegetables.
- Can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Garnish with additional fresh rosemary before serving for added flavor.
