Description

Root Beer Float Pie is a delightful dessert that combines the classic flavors of root beer and vanilla ice cream in a creamy, pie form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup root beer
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. In a saucepan, heat root beer over medium heat until it simmers, then remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the root beer mixture and vanilla ice cream until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
