Description

A delicious ribeye steak topped with a rich garlic-thyme butter, perfect for a special dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.
  3. Rub the steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  5. While the steaks are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Add the minced garlic and thyme to the melted butter and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the garlic-thyme butter over the steaks before serving.
