			- 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup buttermilk
 - 1 large egg
 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 - 1 tablespoon red food coloring
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
 - 1 cup powdered sugar
 - 2 tablespoons milk
 
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
 - In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, vegetable oil, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
 - Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
 - Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
 - Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
 - For the glaze, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency is reached.
 - Serve pancakes warm with cream cheese glaze on top.
 
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use buttermilk instead of regular milk.
 - Adjust the amount of food coloring to achieve your desired shade of red.
 - These pancakes can be made ahead and reheated in the toaster.
