Description

A simple and delicious peppermint fudge recipe perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and half of the crushed peppermint candies.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermint candies on top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
  • This fudge can be made ahead of time and stored for up to two weeks.
