A delicious pork tenderloin dish paired with a sweet and tangy apple chutney, perfect for any occasion.

- 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin
- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sear the pork on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the pork to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add onions and apples, cooking until softened.
- Add apple cider, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the skillet.
- Simmer the chutney until thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Slice the pork and serve with the apple chutney on top.
Notes
- Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing for juicier meat.
- Chutney can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- Adjust the sweetness of the chutney by adding more or less brown sugar.
