Description

A delicious pork tenderloin dish paired with a sweet and tangy apple chutney, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, sear the pork on all sides until browned.
  4. Transfer the pork to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, add onions and apples, cooking until softened.
  6. Add apple cider, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the skillet.
  7. Simmer the chutney until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  8. Slice the pork and serve with the apple chutney on top.

Notes

  • Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing for juicier meat.
  • Chutney can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the chutney by adding more or less brown sugar.
