Description

Delicious oven-baked cheesy tacos that are crispy and loaded with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of refried beans on the bottom.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture, diced tomatoes, onions, and olives.
  6. Place the filled taco shells in the baking dish on top of the refried beans.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tacos.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream and cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preference.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or black beans.
  • These tacos can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
