Description

A delicious copycat recipe for Outback Steakhouse’s famous Alice Springs Chicken, featuring tender chicken breasts topped with honey mustard, bacon, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard dressing
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  5. Spread honey mustard dressing over each chicken breast.
  6. Top each breast with two slices of bacon and a mix of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
