A classic and easy recipe for making Original Rice Krispie Treats that are chewy, crispy, and delicious.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz., about 40) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
- OR 6 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
- Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press the mixture evenly into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt or vanilla extract.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
- These treats can be customized with chocolate chips or sprinkles.
