Description

A comforting one-pan dish that combines tender chicken, zesty green chili, and rich, melted cheese, perfect for a keto lifestyle.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 can (10 oz) green chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts, seasoning generously with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until browned on both sides, about 6-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the green chili evenly over the chicken.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously on top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm.
