Description

A classic comfort food dish that combines ground beef, pasta, and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
