- 1 package of chocolate sandwich cookies (about 15–20 cookies)
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1 cup of whipped topping
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- In a 9×13 inch dish, layer half of the crushed cookies at the bottom.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies.
- Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips over the cream cheese layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies, cream cheese mixture, and chocolate chips.
- Top with whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using vanilla sandwich cookies instead of chocolate.
- Make sure to refrigerate the dessert for the full time to allow it to set properly.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
