Description

A delicious and indulgent appetizer featuring crispy bacon, creamy cheese, and fresh herbs on toasted crostini.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 8 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, parsley, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture on each crostini.
  7. Top with crumbled bacon.
