Description

A delightful and fluffy pancake baked in the oven, topped with crispy bacon and drizzled with maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. In a cast-iron skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Once the butter is melted, pour the batter into the skillet and sprinkle the chopped bacon on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and puffed up.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter version, add a bit more maple syrup on top.
  • Feel free to substitute the bacon with sausage or vegetables for a different flavor.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
