- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
- In a cast-iron skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, pour the batter into the skillet and sprinkle the chopped bacon on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add a bit more maple syrup on top.
- Feel free to substitute the bacon with sausage or vegetables for a different flavor.
