Description
Kataifi Rolls with Pistachio are a delicious Middle Eastern dessert made from shredded phyllo dough, filled with a sweet pistachio mixture, and drizzled with syrup.

- 200g kataifi dough
- 100g pistachios, finely chopped
- 50g sugar
- 50g unsalted butter, melted
- 200ml water
- 100g honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the chopped pistachios with sugar and set aside.
- Take a handful of kataifi dough and spread it out on a clean surface.
- Brush the kataifi with melted butter.
- Place a spoonful of the pistachio mixture at one end of the kataifi and roll it tightly.
- Place the rolled kataifi on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Repeat the process until all the dough and filling are used.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the syrup by boiling water, honey, and vanilla extract together for 5 minutes.
- Once the kataifi rolls are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the syrup over them while they are still warm.
Notes
- Ensure the kataifi dough is thawed completely before use.
- You can substitute pistachios with walnuts or almonds if desired.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the pistachio mixture.
