Delicious and healthy banana oatmeal bars that are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the rolled oats, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
- If desired, fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These bars can be frozen for longer storage.
- Feel free to customize with your favorite add-ins like dried fruits or seeds.
