Description

A delightful side dish featuring tender carrots and green beans glazed with a sweet honey sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the sliced carrots. Cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the green beans to the pot and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until both vegetables are tender.
  3. Drain the vegetables and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the honey and stir until well combined.
  6. Add the cooked carrots and green beans to the pot and toss to coat in the honey glaze.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish.

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
