Ingredients

- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the sliced carrots. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the green beans to the pot and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until both vegetables are tender.
- Drain the vegetables and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the honey and stir until well combined.
- Add the cooked carrots and green beans to the pot and toss to coat in the honey glaze.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm as a side dish.

- For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
