Description

A refreshing and fruity twist on traditional iced tea, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  5. In a blender, puree the diced mango until smooth.
  6. Mix the mango puree into the cooled tea.
  7. Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger mango flavor, add more mango puree.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
  • This tea can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
