Description

A delicious and hearty dish featuring tender steak and cheesy potatoes baked to perfection with garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs steak
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet until browned on both sides.
  4. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter over them.
  5. Place the seared steak on top of the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the steak and potatoes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak for a few hours before cooking.
