Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced chicken on each tortilla, then topping with diced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
