- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Drizzle the garlic butter over the Brussels sprouts.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.
- If using, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
