- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to the custard mixture.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
