- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Pour the cherry mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.
- Cover with a second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
