Description

A unique and delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring crispy bread and a sweet blueberry filling.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the cheese and blueberries.
  4. Drizzle honey over the blueberries if desired.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes
