Description

A delicious and creamy pasta bake infused with Cajun spices and tender chicken, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the diced chicken. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
