Description

Cinnamon Apple Pie Jam is a delightful and easy-to-make spread that captures the flavors of a classic apple pie in a jar.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of peeled and chopped apples
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of allspice
  • 1 package of fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Prepare jars and lids by sterilizing them in boiling water.
  2. In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
  3. Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add the fruit pectin and stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and ladle the jam into the prepared jars.
  7. Seal the jars with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Let the jars cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.
