Instructions
- Prepare jars and lids by sterilizing them in boiling water.
- In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
- Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add the fruit pectin and stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and ladle the jam into the prepared jars.
- Seal the jars with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 5-10 minutes.
- Let the jars cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.
