Description

A colorful and festive dessert perfect for Christmas celebrations, combining layers of jello and cream for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 package (3 oz) red jello
  • 1 package (3 oz) green jello
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the red jello in 1 cup of boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water to the red jello mixture and mix well.
  3. Pour the red jello into a pie dish and refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Fold in the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Once the red jello layer is set, spread the cream cheese mixture over it evenly.
  7. Dissolve the green jello in 1 cup of boiling water and add 1 cup of cold water.
  8. Pour the green jello over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until fully set, about 1-2 hours.
  9. Slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For a more festive look, you can add fruit or sprinkles on top before serving.
  • Make sure to let each layer set completely before adding the next layer.
  • This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
