- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 package (3 oz) red jello
- 1 package (3 oz) green jello
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve the red jello in 1 cup of boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the red jello mixture and mix well.
- Pour the red jello into a pie dish and refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture.
- Once the red jello layer is set, spread the cream cheese mixture over it evenly.
- Dissolve the green jello in 1 cup of boiling water and add 1 cup of cold water.
- Pour the green jello over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until fully set, about 1-2 hours.
- Slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- For a more festive look, you can add fruit or sprinkles on top before serving.
- Make sure to let each layer set completely before adding the next layer.
- This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
