Description

Cherries in the Snow is a delightful dessert that combines the tartness of cherries with a creamy, fluffy topping, creating a beautiful and delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Spread the whipped cream mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  5. Top with cherries evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter dessert, use sweet cherries instead of tart ones.
