- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, garlic, and salt to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in flour and Italian seasoning until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, covered with a cloth.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them in mozzarella cheese.
- Place the cheese-filled dough balls in a greased baking dish.
- Brush the tops with additional melted butter and sprinkle with garlic.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
