Description

Cheesy Funeral Potatoes are a comforting casserole dish made with shredded potatoes, creamy cheese, and a crunchy topping, perfect for gatherings and family meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, melted butter, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed corn flakes with a little melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the potato mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
