- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 package of pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in salt, black pepper, and paprika. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
- These hand pies can be frozen before baking for a quick snack later.
