A delicious and hearty cheesesteak-stuffed garlic loaf that combines the flavors of a classic cheesesteak with the irresistible taste of garlic bread.

- 1 large loaf of Italian bread
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the insides to create space for the filling.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining butter with minced garlic and spread it on the cut sides of the bread.
- Fill the bread with the steak and vegetable mixture, then top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce to the steak mixture.
- Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
