- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs until well blended.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts (if using) over the caramel.
- Spread the remaining batter over the top and drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cake mix.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- These brownies can be served warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
