- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup crushed Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and flour until fully combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Top with crushed Oreo cookies before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use room temperature ingredients.
- Make sure to not overmix the batter to avoid cracks.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
