Description

A delicious and decadent red velvet cheesecake layered with Oreo cookies, perfect for any dessert table.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in sour cream, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and flour until fully combined.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  10. Top with crushed Oreo cookies before serving.
