Description

A delicious and unique jam that combines the sweetness of coconut with a hint of chili for a tropical twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add sweet chili sauce and lime juice, mixing well.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  4. Slowly add the slurry to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded coconut.
  6. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and let it cool before sealing.
