- 4 cups of sliced apples
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and half of the brown sugar.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, remaining brown sugar, and salt.
- Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
